Kelly Rae Finley

On February 28, 2022, Kelly Rae Finley was elevated from interim head coach to head coach for the UF women's basketball team. Finley led the Gators to a historic 2021-2022 season with a record of 21 wins and 11 losses.

Finley was named the 2022 Spalding Maggie Dixon NCAA Division I Rookie Coach of the Year by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association and was honored as the USA Today Sports Network SEC Coach of the Year for her successful first season.

Before coming to the University of Florida, Finley's prior coaching experience includes assistant coaching duties at the University of Arizona, the University of Colorado, and Harvard University. Finley earned her B.S. degree from Colorado State University and attended Harvard University Extension School for graduate coursework.

"I am committed to our student-athletes and will continue to do all I can to help them become the best they can be on and off the court," Finley said. "I'm grateful to be entrusted with this role and will bring my best every day to help us be successful together as a team."
